Nature’s beauty!

Lovely Sunday! Took Nelly for an early walk this morning and got down to church to help with setting up for coffee and tea after the service. Took longer than expected and I joined in with the choir a little after the start of the service! I had been invited out to lunch but we made it at 4 o’clock! I actually got there at 3pm which was stupid as I had thought of taking Nellie to devils point for a walk. I did indeed drive down to Stonehouse but then thought it was later than it was! This is one of the lily plants in my friend’s garden which she planted only last year and they are thriving in the sunshine of her small south facing garden! Nellie was very good in the car and she was clipped in and had her car bed as well.

We had avocado and prawns to start and then chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese on top and potatoes boiled then oven cooked in duck fat with cooked pepper and purple sprouting broccoli which when boiled lost all the purple in the water! All very tasty!

Took the dog for a walk around the Hoe, most of which is not accessible due to the music sessions taking place in Plymouth! Thursday night had included Tom Jones and this evening was Sting but we walked along and found a spot Ona warm wall and sat listening to the music for free! We went back to eat the strawberries and mango!

I am very blessed to have such a lovely friend. She is very wise and gives great advice!
