A Convo

I took this is in the ferry lineup as the guy was having a conversation with the driver of the car in front of us. I liked the matching colours in his jacket and the sign. A cool day with occasional rain.
The use of acronyms and initialisms can be a bit confusing these days. Recently heard someone using 'convo' for 'conversation'. I guess that texting is changing language usage, both online and in person interactions.
A long day. I was up at 4:45am to see Renata and James off, then G and I caught the 9:50am ferry to go to his appointment. We took advantage of time in the city to stock up on a few things. We debated having a Father's Day meal and catching the 5pm ferry home or getting things done, picking up a Romeo's pizza and catching the 3pm ferry home. We went for the second option. By the time we'd unpacked and put everything away, it was after 6pm before we enjoyed the pizza. Better than eating after 8pm!
