I brought my now long gone elderly neighbour from an adjacent field to a nursery centre to buy roses for her garden...she laughed at me for choosing a Beech tree !  but look at it now and can you spot the first person to climb it..?  my fearless 11year old third grandson ! Have to say when his father went awol at that age it's exactly where you'd find him too..up the highest tree he coud find... sometimes you've got to turn a blind eye......
