Aloes in the afternoon light

These Aloes, just over the road from our house, give a beautiful show every year.  The light late this afternoon showed them off perfectly.
It's been a public holiday here. I did two loads of washing, cleaned the swimming pool, and finished unpacking after our time away. Luckily it was a hot day so ideal for washing. Sister M came out this afternoon and we enjoyed tea and carrot cake. I guess tomorrow will be back to normal after our Cape Town break. 
Hubby is battling with his walking and balance. Parkinson's Disease is not easy to cope with.
