Treasure

I have kept feathers in a vase for as long as I can remember. Happy memories stir when I recall visiting paternal grandparents and on the mantelpiece were feathers in a vase. 

My brother and I would collect them on our countryside bike rides and proudly present them to Nanna and Grandad at the weekend. No doubt being told to wash our hands "properly!" before having tea and cake! :)
