Vive le France

A good night to be in Paris (perhaps) as les bleus have their opening match v Austria tonight.

I landed around 6pm (flight delayed) and got the train to Saint-Michael Notre Dame (see extra) then walked the 6km along the Seine to my hotel close to la Tour Eiffel.

There was a good buzz around with the football and the pending Olympics which start next month.

Arrived at hotel 9:30pm. Quick freshen up then out for some food, beers and hopefully the 2nd half.
