An interesting gate

We've done quite a lot of different jobs today.

First thing, a trip into Adamstown to pick up medication at the pharmacy, and drop off glass at the skips.

Then to Ballinaboola for a haircut.

And then into New Ross to pick up some stuff at the hardware/garden centre, and some bits from the supermarket.  We decided to eat lunch at The Brandon House Hotel.

On getting back to our village, we drove slowly down various roads, delivering invitations.  We decided that we need to make an effort to meet more of the people living nearby, and so are hosting a "please come and meet us" weekend in July.  We've driven past this oddly positioned gate quite regularly, but today was an opportunity to get a photo.  Note the heavy black chain keeping it securely closed!
