900th Centenary Concert

Another concert, so another late posting.

This time the venue was the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the music was provided by pupils of the High School of Glasgow, which had its origins 900 years ago as the 'sang school' for Glasgow Cathedral.

Apart from the opening piece performed by the pipe band, the first half of the concert consisted of various choirs from primary through to senior pupils, then the second half was all instrumental groups including rock, jazz, concert, orchestral and pipe bands.

It was a l-o-n-g concert, but the kids were fantastic!
