Comma Butterfly ...

Spotted the butterfly during a short walk in the park this afternoon. Picturing butterflies is one, but to find out afterwards which butterfly it is ... it's quite another story.

But I found the Field Guide to the Butterflies and other insects of Britain and I found it right away. Comma Butterfly, with the scientific name Polygonia c-album ... ;)
