On top of the world

Detour via Monte Bisaurin 2670m gosh it was steep! Otherwise it was a simple 9km hike to the next Refugio. Friends from Zaragoza came out to meet me which was so lovely, we hiked together for a bit. And then later we enjoyed beers and a catch up on the sunny Refugio terrace before they headed home. Dinner with some of the Barcelona people from last night’s stay. Staying in Refugios is very sociable and together with the high mountains, sunshine and alpine flowers is making a fabulous end to my trek.
