A Peaceful Lake Crossing

I went over the water to spend the day in Evian to visit Jean. The weather is gorgeous and we hit a high of 25C and it felt very hot!  There was no wind to speak of, so the Swiss flag never really opened properly.

There are always practical things to do when I go over. Jean doesn't like to go out alone anymore because of the danger of falling. Luckily, he gets daily help for meals, shopping, physio sessions and housework. So he can go out and get some fresh air and be accompanied.

I cooked lunch for us both and took some homemade raisin scones with me as Jean really loves them. I'll go over again next week.

Tomorrow will be a warm and sunny day again and then it looks more changeable.
