Looking Up

A drive up and over the hill to Kini beach. The wind was up, and the sea was rough. It was a beautiful spot. Very hot.

The drive there was tricky with hair pin bends and a steep gradient. We only have a basic small car, and it was struggling with the climbs. We were only tooted at once, though, so it's not so bad.

On the way home, we stopped at Ermoupoli, the capital. We parked in an indoor carpark with space for about 20 cars. The attendant came out, showed us where and how to park, and then told us to leave the keys on the roof of the car! In return, he gave us a handwritten piece of paper with the time and the car's registration. That's not something that will catch on at home!
