Riomaggiore

A hot day taking the boat up the coast of the Cinque Terre ( five beautiful little seaside villages on the Ligurian Coast)
A lot of people hike the CT but…..too hot to do that, so we did it by boat stopping at some of the villages on the way back. We really liked Monterosso, and also Vernazza where we had a delicious fish lunch high up near a castle looking out over the bay. 
We had a sort of plan to go to Portifino on the  train tomorrow but then realised the logistics of it are quite complicated. Another time forse!
We’ll be moving on somewhere tomorrow anyway, just looking at the possibilities.
