A day in the life

Day around the house, where I want to be right now when everything grows and temperature i moderate, not too warm yet. Did some washing, I'm going away for a couple of days so I need clean shorts.

During the evenings watering of plants I noticed this bumblebee feeding on the "Yellow Lionstail", Gul Lejonsvans' or Phlomis russeliana and later I nearly trod on a huge beetle, a Lucanus cervus, "Ekoxe" (Oak ox) in Swedish (extra). This one, a female about five cm long, is the first I see here. There are plenty of oaks around for it to live in though so it shouldn't be unusual.
