different collage papers.

An early start for me...7.00am...yes, that is early :P  I'm in the planning stages for an Open Studio weekend, at the beginning of August,  in the pottery, highlighting my paintings this time!  So around 6.30 am when i woke up i started doing all sorts of stuff in my head...so i got up and started dealing with them!

Then into the studio to make some new collage papers for paintings.  These are created on a silicone gelli pad....with acrylic paint and using wet strength tissue paper to hold the image!   Very fun and i got some interesting results.   more explorations are needed for sure.   See extra for a small piece i tried on a painting that is just begun!

Then Terry and I had to deal with the shipment from my clay suppliers....which was dropped at the studio around 7am!!!   We had to relocate 30 boxes of clay plus various other chemicals...each box weighs 44 lbs!!!  we both grunted and moaned...but we got it done :)  Terry's wonderful tracker comes in very handy at times like this.
