Every Day Ends

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

The Prince and I went to Boon’s celebration of life (after a small private family funeral).

Boon was one of the really good guys. He had a magical smile that lit up a room and he gave the best bear hugs that wrapped you like a blanket. He was a man who showed so much love and was so loved in return, clearly evidenced by over 600 people who came to say goodbye. The number of people there was incredible.

There were fantastic speeches given by close friends and family about his huge heart, warmth, dedication to Lucy and their sons, mischievousness, and competitiveness. But overall, his love. One of his favourite songs was recorded by an incredibly talented friend which brought the entire room to tears.

His two sons spoke about their love for their dad…

“They say never meet your heroes but we lived with ours for our whole life.”
