Well, I had only dabbled until this week and m suspicion that this most fugitive an elusive of the visual arts was difficult has been confirmed.

Claire Harkness, the well-known wildlife water-colourist artist is our tutor for the week at Dollar Summer School and this morning she gave us a demonstration.

Of all the visual art forms watercolour is the one most favoured by amateur artists- yet it is the one that is also the most difficult.
