Rhyl Minature Railway

 I went on a short 3 km run around the outskirts of the village first thing this morning .

Home and a shower, a stop off at Starbucks in Rhuddlan and then on to Rhyl to buy a leaf vacuum and some other things for the garden. 

Some of the locomotives at the Rhyl Miniature Railway were being worked on this morning- apparently all six locos had their boilers tested and all passed so they can be used to haul families around the Marine Lake at the weekend.

This afternoon I tested out the garden vacuum and then went down to the bowling green for an hour's practice before tomorrow's match.

The "Boys from the Blackstuff" have been busy patching up the road directly outside the house and their use of cutting discs and grinders has resulted in everything being covered in dust so I washed both cars and some paintwork early this evening.
