Flowers in a jam jar

I went to see Kathleen Jamie (Scotlands Makar - National Poet) last night doing a reading from her new book and chatting. I’ve always really liked her stuff, mixture of nature and people observations. Being Scottish she’s typically dour and couldn’t really explain her process/talent/gift but I like her even more as a result. Her time as Makar comes to an end this year and I hope they choose someone as inspiring.
