French Gite

We met up today with a couple who split their time between the UK and France. Jayne has known them for several years but this was the first time that I had.

Our friends staying with us also came along and we met for coffee in Le Grand Presseigny. We all seemed to gel and were invited back to their gite in Le Petit Presseigny for a simple lunch of cheeses, baguettes, cold meats etc, plus wine of course, in the ‘barn’.

The hospitality shown us was amazing, such kindness.

The photo is of their gite, lovingly restored over the last twenty years. Wonderful.
