Kiss-me-quick

Dull outlook at breakfast with The Cheviot obscured by a thick gathering of cumulus clouds. However BBC Weather told me to expect a brighter afternoon so I climbed into my shorts.

Free coffee at the local inn was on offer at 11am, so we popped down to help them with their ‘staff training’. The free tray bake did the positivity of my feedback no harm and I was happy to give customer approval to their to their brewing efforts.

Then to the local vet to register the dark prince and book an appointment for his post-flit check-up. I asked them to put a crocodile warning emoji on his file to warn vets that he’s a vicious wee ratbag when he feels cornered.

An afternoon of unpacking and painting followed whilst the barometer gradually climbed and the clouds made way to blue sky and a gentle breeze.

Waiting now for the delivery dudes to bring our new dishwasher and washing machine. If I’m lucky I’ll find time for a cycle after tea.
