Living Geography

Bruuuuuuuuuuce

After a day of teaching it was down to London and dumped bag at a hotel I'd not stayed in before, then meandered my way down to Stanford's - geographers' favourite shop - used my RGS discount as always, and a pint in the BFI then to the Royal Festival Hall for the Meltdown concert by Bruce Hornsby. I've been listening to his music for almost 40 years. I know how he sets up his piano so got a wonderful seat and a bonus was the person in front and to the side of me didn't turn up.... a wonderful night of music. I always turn my phone off and put it away... I'm not one of those people.... and then back to my hotel as the concert finished too late to make it back to Norfolk. City was warm and buzzing and good to be in London again - though it's only been a week, and I'm back next week too.
