Wild Wednesday ...

... First pool selfie of the year!

My day started a bit earlier than usual as I wanted to get out early to get some bloodwork for an upcoming appointment with my endocrinologist.  Unfortunately when I got over to the blood lab there was a sign on the door stating they were closed for construction ... reopening is set of Saturday!  That was a wasted trip to be sure! My appointment isn't until early July so I still have some time to get this done.  

I was back home by 8:00 am and was then able to have my morning coffee.  After that we got out to Housenick Memorial park for a nice long walk before the day got too hot.  As I type this up (4:30 EDT) the heat index is at 98° F.  Phew ... that's warm!

The rest of the day was spent much like yesterday ... sunroom in the morning followed by lunch and then pool time.  But today I did more in the pool than just swimming!  I had a little fun as you can see!  Please have a look full screen.  (After viewing the original photo I converted to mono as it simply looked too blue for my tastes.)

Tomorrow threatens to be even hotter so I see a repeat of my daily schedule for the next few days.  I'm glad we have a/c in the house as it is definitely a blessing.
