Fading beauty

I've been meaning to pull over to take a photo of these dogwood blossoms and should have before they started to fade. Some of them have a lovely subtle blush. There was a beautiful dogwood full of pink blossoms on my route to work. The dogwood is our provincial flower.
Finally - a day that feels like summer! I had a good early walk, did some work in the garden, ate lunch in the garden, and I'm now off to sit out there in the shade and read. Luxury!
