great crested flycatcher

Montezuma day- hot as blazes in the mid-90's. I
 was surprised to find lots of herons , a good number of egrets and loads of swallows. Still trying to get decent tern photos but that won't happen till I get the 850 back. But while I was trying to get a photo of dad swallow feeding the babies , in extras, this flew in and was surprisingly the best photo of the day.
