Old Faithful

The hardiest dahlias in the garden are these bright red beauties, a long-ago share from a friend named Gail. I haven't seen her in a long time, but these dahlias bloom every year in several places in the backyard. Pink, orange, purple, coral--all the others have been eaten by gophers over the winter.
