Map-winged Swift
This lovely micro moth was in the trap this morning, it's a Map-winged Swift (Hepialus fusconebulosa).
The afternoon was sunny but the day started off very misty and now (nearly 10pm) the low mist has come rolling in again off the sea.
I must take some photos of the wildflowers they are looking spectacular now - i'll try and get out tomorrow and get some shots - i will be a good excuse to escape from my end of contract report writing!
Had dinner with a lovely friend who is visiting from Lewis, so nice to catch up :-)
