Hedge Woundwort

This was from an early walk in the reserve this morning.  And what a morning - a pure and perfect summer day at last!  In Extras I've added the single shot I got of a Small Tortoiseshell in the reed beds.  Not a great shot and not a pristine butterfly, but I was just so pleased to see it - the first one I've seen this year!

Apart from that, rather too much time has been spent having my eyes tested and ordering a new pair of reading glasses.  I haven't done that for a while and, goodness, haven't the prices bumped up ;(

Right, importantly now I have to annouce the Hearts and Hon Mentions for WFW24_11, so I'll just publish thus far and then come back with the names when I know this is safely posted..
