Different garden

Just as we were going to bed last night we were hit by a huge storm - rain, hail and very, very strong winds. Amazingly, it only lasted for about eight minutes but the damage it brought was immense. This morning when we went out we saw some tiles have come off my sister's roof, her silver birch behind the shed has snapped in half (main blip) and virtually all her flowers and plants have been flattened. You can see the cats Panda and Jack looking as disconsolate as we feel today. Also, the Internet is down (it's anyone's guess how long before we're back on line) so I'm posting blips from my phone and comments will be few and far between. 

My sister's dear neighbour has lost her beautiful old walnut tree which was completely uprooted and which luckily just missed her house - in extras.
