The time team

No sign of Mr Robinson but evidently he only appears in the last two hours of any dig to triumphantly reveal the finds…..
Anyway had a visit to the Time Team tent at Sutton Hoo today and spoke to some really interesting people about the dig.
Reviewed some finds with them and chatted to the investigators painstakingly sifting through every bag of soil the excavators had removed from the site.
Afterwards an hour and a quarter tour of the royal burial ground with an interesting and humorous guide.
A really good day.
