Bringing home lunch

Three days now we have got up to sunshine, is this summer?
We finally gave in and have had a smart meter installed, the engineer arrived around 9 o’clock and was here for a couple of hours. We are fully smart for electric but still manual for the gas, apparently the meters are too far apart to talk with each other so we will have to have one with a stronger signal that will be delivered at a later date.

When we were picking strawberries (a good kilo or more)this afternoon Mrs Blackbird was hanging around and helping herself, when I went in to get my camera she flew off but she came back later with a beak full of grubs.
