Abstract-ish Verdin

I took a photo of a Verdin in my yard and wasn't thrilled with how it turned out. The lower breast area was blown out and no matter what I did I couldn't fix it. So I went with a Topaz Studio 2 filter.

The grizzly prickly pear has been blooming the past several days. Not en mass but a few here and there. There's clearly more moisture in the air. The mountains are almost obscured by dust and there was some blowing across the freeway. After stopping for lunch, I drove to Amado to see my PCP. She helped me distinguish between a regular diet, which  starts today, from a high fiber diet. And before everything, I watched a Diamondbacks baseball game.  It's otherwise too hot, 109F, to be outside doing anything meaningful.
