Eider Feathers

We travelled up north stopping off in Dewsbury to visit mum who has been to A&E this week having fallen over her walker in the night and cut her leg. She was fairly chipper but with her leg stitched and bandaged it wasn't a good look.

It's disappointing that the boats aren't being allowed to land for a photographic trip. Staple Island is remaining closed to the public and the Inner Farne landings are only for an hour. It's a Thursday and there aren't many people around which is strange but I would imagine serious birders/ photographers have decided to give it a miss.
