Happy Solstice!

A very happy Winter and Summer Solstice to you all.

I decided against cavorting naked in the cold morning light Chez Mima to celebrate. Instead I whipped out my camera and took this photo at the very moment of the changing of the year, just as the sun was about to appear from behind the hills and trees. 

I know it's a disappointment.

I'll make up for it in six months' time.

More horizontality all day. And not much time commenting on Blips because upside down typing isn't my forte. (I am briefly upright to post this.) Thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterday's photo of the creek.
