Cool Start

This was the view going in at 05:30 this morning on what would have been my fourth day off. However I 'volunteered' to learn three new routes today.
At 05:30 is was still warm with no breeze, very balmy, I hadn't had much sleep so didn't feel "on top of the world".
Seven hours as a passenger, observing and writing route notes which I will have to follow when I do the route on my own on Friday.
Home early in the afternoon I collected Joshua from school, home to start typing out my route notes. Clare, Joshua and I met the Tuts on Swanpool Beach for a picnic dinner and swim. It was worth it for some of Carolyn's home made quiche.
