No need for an alarm clock this morning

A big gang of men woke me long before my alarm, lifting up the road outside my bedroom and taking it away. They came back later with a new load of black stuff, and next week they plan to finish the job. No more bouncing up the street in the old jalopy for me - a nice smooth ride from here on in.
