A new experience

Did a bit more housework this morning (sorry the house is clean enough?) before getting myself ready to head into town to meet up with new friend Michelle. I was a bit early to meet her train so had time to nip into a new to Edinburgh shop Uniqlo where I spotted a rather lovely green linen blend dress so I bought it!

Met Michelle and after a quick visit to the Apple shop to see if they could repair her iPad, unfortunately not, we headed off to the student accommodation her partner Mark had booked them into whilst he took part in his sailing completion this week. It was compact and bijou but will do the job.

We headed down to the yacht club at Granton harbour in time for prize giving and o key a lovely bunch of people including Mark’s sailing partner Mike. As is the way of these things, I also bumped into an ex work colleague who I probably haven’t spoken to in 20 years.

Back up to town to meet up with Mr PHL for dinner at Vittorio’s on the walk. It has recently been refurbished and we had a most enjoyable evening.
