Rise and shine

Today is, for us, the winter solstice and the shortest day of the year. Although here in Lennox Head, at 29 degrees south latitude, our short day length (10 hours 18 minutes) is nowhere near as short as what many northern hemisphere Blippers experience at their winter solstice.
