in the carwash

I usually avoid the automatic type car washes but the hand car wash just opposite me has closed down for redevelopment. The car was covered in bird-poo (as we park in the shade of the trees in Thuir) and the remnants of saharan sand from the previous week . Having got home yesterday morning and going away again tomorrow I thought I'd brave it!  I once had a car damaged when the washing machinery went into it so I chose the 'non-touch' option and sat mesmerised whilst everything splashed around me.
