Bella, bella.
Light rain had been forecast overnight, but we woke up to a little more than that. The water was streaming down the drive as usual and the rain carried on for a while. I'd put some of my greenhouse plants outside last night, so they'll have got a good watering!
Did some weeding and potting this morning, then after lunch I decided to drive to the Walled Garden to make sure that the runner beans were climbing up the right poles! I was disappointed to see very little more growth than there was two weeks ago! A rather wasted journey.
My Blip today is of a beautiful plant by the name of Isoplexis canariensis 'Bella'. Isoplexis comes from the Canary Islands and is therefore not particularly hardy - mine has been under cold glass during the winter.
Back home I thought I could do worse than sit down with a cuppa and watch an episode of Midsomer Murders!!
