Whoops, Did I do That?

Time for the kestrel chicks to leave the nest in the Ollon church belfry but none of the four chicks were very keen to do it themselves. What a funny few hours I had today, watching their progress. They’d come to the edge, flap a wing, then go back in. Amazing to see this as I thought there was no nest there this year. Last year I saw the adults going in and out but once only. I just happened to go to the café this morning for bread and spotted one of the chicks in the hole! What a gift to see, everything else today went on hold. Excuse the several extras … I am too excited to have seen this.
