The Fruits of Our Labour...?

Not ours, don't be silly!

Yes, it's true, I can't take credit for these delicious looking strawberries & raspberries. They are the first few pickings of our nice neighbour who we have fondly named Margo-not-Margo, after the inimitable Margo Leadbetter from the Good Life. I suppose Jenny & me are the Tom & Barbara of our very own little good life, & therefore we need our inquisitive neighbour. As Margot Leadbetter is a one of kind, & as our own Margot is equally as similar as she is different to her on screen counterpart, we thought a slight variation would be just right instead.

I had a raid on the garden after work today, it was getting Amazonian rainforest out there. The beast has been tamed & is now well watered thankfully. Some of the plants are thriving too - the green beans are winding their way up the poles & may make an appearance on blip soon! Still waiting for some of the flower plants to poke through...
