Castle Twickel

My brother and I visited this medieval castle today, in Delden, in the east of the Netherlands. We had an interesting guided tour of the castle. Unfortunately no photos allowed inside. 

Part of the castle is still lived in by a descendant of the family. The castle and (large)  estate are part of a foundation. Not privately owned any more.
