"Summer" Solstice 2024

I learned this year that the solstice is the moment of the year when the earth's axis is nearest the sun. So for us in the northern hemisphere it's the summer solstice when the north axis is nearest the sun. This year fo us this happened this evening at 21:50 and today's Blip was taken very shortly afterwards.
If only the weather had played ball my Blip might have looked a little more cheery :-)
