Standards

The bowling club I belong to hosted a County match between Northumberland and Cumbria ladies' teams with international players present. I was pleased that the green and settings had the approval of the umpire, having taken measurements of various things. The Cumbria ladies won by ten shots but it was a privilege to prepare the green with the help of another member for this prestigious match.
