Day 18

The weather cleared last evening - I actually caught a glimpse of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre with the observatory on the top in the distance, though it's been shrouded in cloud again today. It's been a pleasant day, not too hot, and we had a leisurely walk around the old part of the town, following a map I'd downloaded of the Bagnères heritage trail. It was all beautifully laid out with information plaques at the relevant points, and covered everything from the marble-cutting industry to the thermal spas, traditional buildings, green spaces with mature trees, churches, sculptures, etc. I've included some of the upper windows from the Grandes Thermes building as my main, and another compilation as an extra.
