A Conspiracy With Life

Post sunset on the Lula walk tonight.

A quote from the book I finished REreading yesterday, High Tide in Tuscon, by Barbara Kingsolver (what a writer!):

Gratefuls:
- watching the shimmering white ball of the sun sink down into the Lake and the colours intensify
- water birds swooping and skimming for insects from above, and carp jumping up from below, the only sound frogs cheering
- the full strawberry moon silently rising over Mourão, like a benediction
