Bit of a stressful day discovering that Sam's passport had expired just two days before he is supposed to fly to France. The bad news is he can't go :( The good news is that we can get an emergency passport for him next Friday in Glasgow and he can fly the following Monday :) It was one of those I can't quite believe what I'm seeing moments (as well as a I can't quite believe we never thought to check.....) This all had a knock on effect on Nicks trip away mountain biking with Treegonk and Stu - meaning he left much later than anticipated. They did get to Laggan eventually (having waited almost three hours for the AA to kickstart Treegonks car just outside of Edinburgh!!) No time to mountain bike when they arrived but by all accounts a very fine barbeque was had (with HUGE amounts of meat - what's wrong with a few vegetable kebabs boys?) before retiring to their tent.
