WATER LILY

The first WATER LILY has bloomed in my fountain. It seems late, but several more
will be blooming soon.

I finished, the book:
TABLE FOR TWO

It’s 6 short stories & a novella.
I loved his previous books, & am reminded why short stories can be so great. He wrote the novel, A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW, & the first short story reminded me of it.

My favorite story was “THE BOOTLEGGER,”
which was based on his own frustrating experience, but the narrator is the wife.
Very clever.
