Roker

Back down to Roker after a few years’ break. It’s always nice to see the pier although we were too late to wander out to the lighthouse so we just strolled along the beachfront for a while. There’s a lot of effort been put into regenerating Roker beach and the part near the pier was bustling but sadly the other end needs a lot of TLC!
We had a few practice games of tenpin at the Riverside Bowl before the tournament kicks off tomorrow - hopefully that’s all the rubbish out of my system!
